Disable System Restore in Windows 7

You’ve removed temp files, cleaned off the IE Cache, removed old downloads, and you still don’t have enough drive space to install that great game. Here is a way to free up some drive space that you may not have thought of.

Hide the desktop icons

In some environments, such as an assembly line or production facility, you may want to present an ultra-clean desktop to your users.  By hiding the icons, all that is visible on the desktop is the task bar, and whatever wallpaper you have set as the background.
