Windows is sometimes blamed for many things that happen when you are using your PC and they may or may not be to blame. One of the things that they are not to blame for is in answer to the question what causes beginning dump of physical memory? This question is difficult to answer.

Install VB6 on Windows 7

After surfing around the net, I’ve found very little information regarding installation of VB6 on Windows 7. Most of the information out there is for Vista, and most of it is queries for assistance.

IRQ Priority Tweak

You will need to create a new DWORD: IRQ#Priority (where # is the number of the IRQ you want to prioritize) and give it a setting of 1. This setting gives the requisite IRQ channel priority over the other IRQs on a software level.

Auto-sort the Start Menu

Go to Edit/Permissions, click Advanced, clear the “Inherit From Parent” check box, click Copy from the dialog box, click OK and then clear the “Full Control” for your account and now Windows will auto sort the start menu, but you can still do it too.

Force XP to Unload DLLs

XP has a bad habit of keeping dynamic link libraries that are no longer in use resident in memory. Not only do the DLLs use up precious memory space, but they also tend to cause stability problems in some systems.
