Back to Basics: Returning to FortyPoundHead.com

By | 2025-05-07

Hey folks,

Just a quick update for those of you who’ve been following along on this experimental journey.

A little while back, I launched this side project—an experimental site where I could test new ideas, play with different formats, and explore some creative directions outside the scope of my main site, FortyPoundHead.com. It was a fun ride, and I appreciate everyone who checked it out, gave feedback, or just lurked quietly in the background.

But after giving it a fair shot, I’ve come to a simple conclusion: it’s just not working out the way I’d hoped.

The engagement isn’t where it needs to be, managing two sites is more time-consuming than productive, and honestly, most of the good stuff belongs over on the main site anyway. That’s where the real meat is—solid how-tos, tech tips, and all the practical, no-nonsense content that you’ve come to expect over the years.

So I’m pulling the plug on this little experiment.

Going forward, I’ll be shifting all my focus back to FortyPoundHead.com. That’s where the updates, new content, and future projects will live. If you’ve bookmarked this site or followed it via RSS or social media, I encourage you to head back over to the mothership and rejoin the main feed there.

Thanks again for tagging along. Sometimes you try something new, and it doesn’t pan out—but that’s part of the process. Now it’s time to double down on what works.

See you over at FortyPoundHead!
