- Select your network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- Click on “Advanced”.
- Click on the “TCP/IP” tab.
- Your local IP address will be listed next to “IPv4 Address”.
- Android:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on “Network & internet” (or “Connections” depending on your device).
- Tap on “Wi-Fi”.
- Long press on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to.
- Tap on “Modify network”.
- Look for the line that says “IP address”. This is your local IP address.
Public IP Address
This is the address assigned to your network by your internet service provider (ISP) and is visible to the internet. You can find your public IP address by using online tools, like this.
Important Note: Your local IP address is only relevant within your internal network and won’t be visible from the internet. Your public IP address can be used by others to locate your general geographic area.
