The inspiration for this fully W3C compliant “XHTML 1.1 strict” template was Pend Oreille county in eastern Washington State. The clean, uncluttered look of this design would make an appealing online presence for a business or even a blog.
The template features horizontal navigation at the top, with an H1 heading element on the left for the site title. The main content area is contained in the 960 pixel wide fixed width wrapper. Two demo pages are included in this package.
The first page is a simple landing page, with a large graphic in the middle, while the second page is a demonstration containing some of the more often used HTML elements in most web sites. Either way, the styling of the site is easily changed by editing the single CSS file.
