DirectDraw 7 Tutorial

By | 2002-06-01

Updated: 15/07/200 – All Bugs Fixed
This is a tutorial that shows the basics of writing graphics using Direct Draw – perfect for the BitBlt API user moving into DirectX. This is just simply source code that is HEAVILY – and I mean HEAVILY commented to help undestand the basics of displaying bitmaps, page flipping, setting to fullscreen mode, etc.
Any feedback on anything that isn’t explained well or at all is appreciated.
