How to clear the Parental Controls Activity Reports in Windows Vista

Simple, three step process.

  • Click Start, type eventvwr.msc and press ENTER. This launches the Event Viewer
  • Navigate to the following branch in the Event Viewer: Applications and Service Logs | Microsoft | Windows | ParentalControls | Operational
  • Right-click Operational, and click Clear Log…

Important note: You may need to clear the Application, System and Security logs as well. Information such as Logon times, Application usage data are stored there. You understand that the Application, System and the Security logs not only store the Parental Controls data, but also contains other important events which have occurred in your system.
