Configure the TCP/IP Settings of a Network Adapter

These values control the TCP/IP parameters of the network interface cards. Configurable parameters include IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.

Open the registry and find the key below, where {Adapter} equals the service name of the installed NIC. For example 3COM 905 NIC’s service name is ‘El90x’.

Registry Settings: Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\{Adapter}\Parameters\Tcpip]
Value Name: IPAddress; SubnetMask; DefaultGateway
Data Type: REG_BINARY
